ColorGraphic Printing is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment by reducing waste and using environmentally safe products.  Here are some ways that we are achieving this commitment:

• - Recycling: Over 90% of our paper trimmings and corrugated cardboard is recycled.  That's over 14,000 pounds of waste per week that doesn't end up in a landfill.  Also, almost all of our press plates are recycled and the metal used to produce new products.
• - Vegtable based inks:  The inks we use are made from a high percentage of vegetable based oils.  They emit zero VOCs and contain no heavy metals.
• - Energy Efficient Fluorescent Lighting: Our facility uses fluorescent lighting, which uses less electricity and produces less heat.
• - Energy Efficient HVAC System:  Even during the winter months, our production area requires conditioned air due to the waste heat from the machinery.  Our air system pulls in cold air from outside to help condition the air instead of running the compressor on the air unit.  This reduces our energy consumption.  Also, our air filtration system will pull heated air from our printing presses and either vent it in to the warehouse and use it as a heat source during cold months or vent it outside during the warm months.
