Position Overview:
ColorGraphic Printing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cutter Operator to join our production team. This role is essential to ensuring printed materials are trimmed accurately and efficiently to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, maintains a steady workflow, and understands the importance of consistency in a fast-paced print environment.

Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain paper cutters (guillotine cutters) safely and efficiently
• Accurately trim printed sheets to specified sizes and tolerances
• Read and interpret job tickets and cutting layouts
• Measure and verify cuts using appropriate tools (rulers, calipers, etc.)
• Maintain proper stacking, jogging, and alignment of materials
• Perform routine maintenance and blade changes as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality standards before moving to the next department
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with other finishing/bindery tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Print shop experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read job specifications and follow instructions carefully
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to lift and move paper stacks (up to 50 lbs)
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment
